Special Thanks to all Landowners and Sponsors - without you there would be no Pass2Pub.
Pass2Pub - about the event

Simply put it is a fantastic family race that appeals to all ages, abilities, genders and walks of life. Whatever level of rider you are, the Pass2Pub will provide you with a challenge. If you want to go flat out it does require good fitness and technical skills. But if you want to make the Pass2Pub into a family adventure or a work challenge, anyone can complete the ride at a leisurely pace and it is not too physically demanding. You still need some fitness, but most people who know how to ride a bike can enjoy the thrill of competing and finishing.

And great news - it is mostly downhill - the race starts at Burkes Pass (545m above sea level) and ends at the Albury Pub (just 238m above sea level). Ok - there are a couple of moderate hills, but after all this is a mountain bike race

There are literally hundreds of prizes that everyone who enters has a chance to win. Many of the hundreds of spot prize winners will be notified at registration that they have won a spot prize, but they won't know what they have won. They will receive a voucher that they redeem for their prize in the prize tent at the finish line. Major spot prizes will be awarded at the end of the prize giving.

Note that on the day entries are not eligible for pre-drawn prizes – so enter early!

We also have special prizes for the oldest and youngest rider to complete the course. And special race categories for Retro bikes (no shocks, no front or rear suspension and no clip in pedals) and for Single Speed bikes (no gears).

Of course one of the best things about the Pass2Pub is the after-match party. This is when you can kick back and enjoy great Mackenzie Country hospitality and southern sunshine. After the race get together with your mates or family, swap stories from the trail or cheer on the finishers. There is live music from Big Picnic, activities for the younger kids, a sumptuous BBQ and of course plenty of liquid refreshments. You can also view photos from the day and check out the latest offerings from some of our sponsors.

So don't wait any longer enter the Pass2Pub today, but be quick. Entries are limited to 1000 riders and you don't want to miss out.

The 2010 ride starts at Burkes Pass and goes to Albury.
