Basic tips for beginners

Tips for beginners:

Start slowly and then increase  - ride for 2 or 3 times a week and build up to more frequent and longer rides.  Try different terrain - work up from easy rides to short hills and then find places to ride with longer hills.

Increase speeds gradually. The key towards successful fitness cycling is to be patient and not hurry in increasing your limits.

Get the right equipment – reliable, well maintained bike, a helmet, a good pair of biking shorts.
